About this unit
Woven glass fibre cloth in a wall-mounted pouch with two pull tabs. Laid over a burning pan it cuts off air immediately, with no residue, no splash and no chance of spreading burning oil. It is also the fastest way to smother clothing that has caught fire.
Mounted beside a hob rather than above it — you should never have to reach across a fire to get to it. Single use: discard after any deployment.
