About this unit
A photoelectric chamber that senses scattered light from smoke particles, which makes it markedly better than an ionisation head at catching slow, smouldering fires — the ones that fill a corridor with smoke while everyone is asleep.
Addressable two-wire loop version for panel systems, or a standalone battery unit for a flat. Both carry a test button and a low-battery chirp.
